Newman’s Own Organics Cat Food Wet & Dry Review

Newman’s Own Organic Cat Food exceeds the nutrient requirements established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Nutrient Profiles. Their cat food is balanced and formulated to maximize palatability, digestibility and nutrient assimilation. My cat typically eats friskies or wiskas, neither of which are organic, so I felt that this would be a good thing him. He turned one back in October so he is new to adult formulated food. Draco is the most picky cat I know and doesn’t like too many new flavors.

Draco and Newman’s Own Organics Dry Food…

I hate to say this but the poor boy just kept getting sick with the dry food. I tried a few times within the month to give him the dry food, hoping to see a different result. Same result all 4 times, sadly. However, this isn’t abnormal. Many cats don’t re-act well to changing their normal food diet. It can actually be dangerous to repeatedly change your cat’s food over and over. I recommend starting out with Newman’s Own Organics cat food, as I know it is better than what we are currently giving poor Draco. I am sure he would have loved it if it didn’t make him sick. He did finish about half the bowl each time prior to it. I believe he DID like it enough to eat it. Just didn’t like the after effect.

Give Me Newman’s Own Organics Cat Food and No One Gets Hurt…

This was a MUCH better experience. Draco runs out from any hiding place and jumps up at me when he hears the can open. This look says enough about how much he HATES waiting for me to put the can down. Draco barely gives me time to get the food into a bowl. Between Skylar and him, I don’t know who is worse! I don’t even bother with a bowl any more for him. It just seems like a waste of time, since he devours it.

Draco just LOVES the wet food from Newman’s Own Organics. I don’t think he could want any other wet food from now on. He seems WAY too happy for me to want to change it.
